“Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy- but mysterious. But above all black says this: “I don’t bother you- don’t bother me” -Yohji Yamamoto.

Hey Lovies!

Black is back! As stated in my last post, I took some time during the spring and summer to give my all-black attire a break in order to bring more colors and brightness into my wardrobe. This was actually a challenge that I made for myself after realizing that 75-100% of my outfits worn on a daily basis consisted of black. During the challenge I put all of my black pieces away in the back of the closet, and brought the colors to the front. I made it a point to choose looks that were either bright, or had fun patterns and prints (with minimal black included). Don’t get me wrong… it has been fun experimenting with colors and finding new ways to jazz up my outfits without going back to the same all-black looks, but my 4-month challenge (started in April) has ended. In celebration of my challenge ending, this week’s look is taking it back to my head-to-toe black look! This is not to say that you will not continue to see me in my colors and prints, but for today black is the proto-call. πŸ™‚
