Brick of Belief

December 17, 2015

Belief: Something one accepts as true or real; a firmly held opinion or conviction.

Have you ever believed in something or someone so much that you would bet your last dollar on them and their success? No one can tell you different about this person or their abilities, because you know without a shadow of a doubt that they are walking on a path that leads to happiness and blessings. Now, would ever believe that this person betted on is YOU?!

Most people have an idea of the life that they want to live complete with all of their hearts desires. This could be a life with your family together and unified in happiness, at your dream job fulfilling your passion, or even helping others to be the best version of themselves. Whatever picture is painted in your mind as your perfect life, know that in order to obtain this life you must lay your foundation and work hard for it. However, what I’ve learned recently is that the most important brick in laying this foundation is your ability to believe. I’m not talking about any belief, because we can all believe in ourselves and our work ethic to get things done, but what about when that work ethic doesn’t produce results. What about when all of the arrows seem to be pointed in the opposite direction of your dream, and you can’t seem to understand all the “how’s” and “why’s” during the obstacles in your journey? These are the critical moments that have the power to either push you off your path into a dead-end, or push you into your destiny through unwavering belief.

Belief has the power to break any bondage that the enemy tries to place on you. It has the strength to carry you over and through any dense fog and thunderstorms that your path may produce. But best of all…it has the power to make anyone who places a bet on your success in life a champion! …..winner-winner chicken dinner !! πŸ™‚
