Desigual F/W 2016

February 16, 2016

The Desigual Show during New York Fashion Week is synonymous with fun and playful models, printed clothing mixtures & awesome music. This season’s offerings made sure to live up to the high standard that the brand sets each year.

From a printed velour suit, to patchwork suede and denim and pinstriped berets, there was definitely an overload of inspiration for mixed prints with a continuing trend for the 70’s. This collection was inspired by the ever-changing city life and all of the vibrancy it brings. Desigual has an essence that imparts to all that everyday is an opportunity to express yourself and wear your attitude to face the world. This something that I have always admired about this brand and it’s show. To some, their clothing mixtures may be too loud or an overdose of prints, but to others it is an exact replica of how they feel but never knew how to translate through their clothing and the mixing of prints.

If this is you, feel free to take a tutorial from these runway images below of the looks that I loved! Feel empowered to make these looks your own from what you currently own in your closet mixed or make sure to grab a few pieces once it hits the store in the fall!

My favorite look from the collection! <3
