New York Fashion Week has come and gone, and I’m ready to tell you all about it! The collections shown at this seasons shows were absolutely amazing! I’ve chosen my top five favorite shows and will be posting my reviews of each show within the next few days along with my style diary! Up first is Greedilous! 🙂
Concept Korea is a collaborative project that promotes Korean Fashion Designers and assist them in their efforts to break into the U.S fashion market. Every Fashion Week the project features three designer’s collections during their runway show, and I have grown to love them all! This season, one designer’s collection caught my eye and made me fall head over heels in love…Greedilous by Younhee Park!
Greedilous Spring/Summer 2017 collection was inspired by an amusement park that mixes reality and fantasy. Younhee merged her personal adventures from this amusement park along with a reinterpretation of the preppy/retro look of the 1990’s to bring her collection to life. Models donned in printed dresses and chic lace separates were intertwined with models in sweatpants and oversized graphic tees. I literally saw woman of every style walk down the runway: sporty, elegant, chic, and edgy.
Younhee’s collection is one of my favorites because I saw versions of myself in each woman displayed! My style changes daily based on my mood and things that inspire me. The Greedilous collection showed me that beauty can have an ever-changing style and still stay true to who you are inside.
Take a look at my favorite looks from the collection below!
Special thanks to Factory PR for having me!
