Have you ever felt as though you were called to complete a certain mission but it seemed as though none of your friends and/or family believed that your mission was possible to complete? Or, if completed it wouldn’t actually succeed. It can be a hard pill to swallow and will make you question if what you’re doing is actually from God, or if you’re conjuring up an idea. You begin to allow their doubt to cloud your mind and before you know it you’ve either decided to give up on the idea partially, or worst, not even starting it.
My first post of 2017 stated that this is the year of grace, and that God can and will answer our prayers and complete the promises that He has given us over our lives…but this will come to those who BELIEVE! This means that every promise God gives you should not be shared with everyone. It may also mean that you close your ears to those who want to speak negative against the purpose that God has placed in your life. As you grow in your relationship with God and go to higher levels in your walk, every person will not be able to come with you. There will be people that God will place in your life for a season, but their purpose is not to go past that allotted time. If there is one thing that I have learned in my journey with Christ is to never try to force someone to stay in your life longer than their intended time. You will know when their time has ended, and if you try to make it longer you will slow down your own personal walk with Christ.
Be obedient to where God is telling you to go, what he is asking you to do and who he is asking you to do it with. It will save you from encountering unnecessary commentary and will keep moving you towards the purpose that God has given you! 🙂
